Specialisation in nursing care

Optimum care around the clock

We want our patients to know that they are in the best medical and nursing hands with us. That is why our qualified nursing staff are there for our patients and their families around the clock. We provide care during the inpatient stay and, if necessary, ensure optimum care even after discharge from our hospital. In addition, our specially qualified nursing experts are available to our patients and their relatives to answer any special questions they may have. Our aim is to promote individual self-care skills through our counselling and guidance.

Our care experts are available to our patients and their relatives both in an advisory capacity and as course instructors in the following areas:

  • Nutritional counselling
  • Wound outpatient clinic (see below)
  • Breastfeeding and lactation counselling
  • Family care
    • Dementia courses
    • Courses for family carers

We will be happy to inform you about dates and details of the courses, please contact us.

In order to promote and maintain the individual abilities of our patients in the best possible way, we work according to the following nursing concepts:

  • Basal stimulation
  • Bobath
  • Activitas
  • Kinaesthetics

Trained peer tutors and specially trained specialists ensure that these nursing concepts are implemented on the wards. Our employees can deepen the knowledge they have acquired in regular training courses.

It is important to us that our patients are well cared for even after they have been discharged from our hospital. Our qualified care transition experts will be happy to support you in organising care at home after your hospital stay. We can advise and support you with the following issues, for example:

  • Clarification of the financing of subsequent care
  • Application for benefits from the health and care insurance fund
  • Selection of an outpatient care service

Our aim is to keep people in need of care in their familiar surroundings for as long as possible and, if necessary, to find a suitable care area together. You can find the relevant contacts on the discharge management page.
