Then training as a nursing specialist (generalist training) in our hospital and at the Catholic Training Centre in Haan is just right for you.

The nursing profession is very demanding and involves a high degree of responsibility.After all, you will be working with people on a daily basis.Our trainees are well prepared for this during their three-year training programme by qualified and experienced teachers, practical instructors and qualified nursing staff.These people are happy to make their contribution to the training of committed junior staff.

Your contact persons

  • Specially trained practical nursing staff will accompany and support you on the various wards at your place of work throughout your entire training period.
  • We offer you a variety of modern teaching methods in theory.

  • Duration: 3 years full-time
  • Block phases theory and practice
  • Theory: 2,100 hours, practice: 2,500 hours
  • Locations:
    - Hospital
    - Care facilities for the elderly
    - Home care
    - Psychiatric clinics
    - Paediatric locations
  • Optional preferred locations:
    - Intensive care unit
    - Central emergency outpatient clinic
    - Palliative and hospice centre
    - Central operating theatre incl. anaesthesia department

  • Health aptitude (physical and mental fitness)
  • Secondary school leaving certificate
  • University entrance qualification
  • Secondary school leaving certificate in conjunction with a successfully completed two-year vocational qualification or a successful completion of a one-year care programme

  • Application period: All year round
  • Start of training: 1 April and 1 October each year.

Training period: 1 year

Requirements: At least a grade 9 secondary school leaving certificate

Start of training: Possible in spring or autumn, depending on location

Holiday entitlement: 30 days per year

Monthly training allowance: 1st year of training € 1,114.91
